Coaching Dynamics featured in Simarco’s Summer Staff Newsletter after Customer Service Training event.

Simarco International Customer Service Training event

During July, teams in Stoke attended Customer Service Training with Tina Dulieu of Coaching Dynamics.  There were 4 teams across departments who each spent a day with Tina at Stoke City Football Club’s conference rooms.

The day was a mixture of listening, discussion, activities, learning, sharing experiences and good practice, and even some psychology theory!  Everyone there was encouraged by Tina to view the day and information delivered with an open mind, to do some self-analysis on how they deal with customers both externally and internally (i.e. from different departments) and to look for ways or areas of how they deal with customers that they would like to improve on and the actions they would then take.

The day was full, with topics such as their own personal experience of customer service, representation of the Simarco brand, polite and courteous communication, listening and questioning skills, dealing with unhappy customers, avoiding negative phrases and replacing them with positive ones, and an interesting section called ‘Chat Etiquette’ on successful rapport and relationship building.  Two teams also had the opportunity to have lunch in the Directors’ box overlooking the football pitch - icing on the cake!

Central to all this was discussion of newly released ‘The Simarco Way’, particularly in relation to the Values and Culture of the company and how this can be integrated into each person’s everyday working both for themselves, their colleagues and their customers.  This was discussed and very well received by the teams.

Tina’s feedback is that everyone was receptive and lovely to work with and that she was particularly pleased with the teams’ contributions to the day, their attentiveness, openness and willingness to take something positive away with them and implement it.

A further follow-up day is planned towards the end of August to review the impact that the day has had on each person and the effect that any change of process, or change of mindset, has had for them, their customer interactions and the company.

Coaching Dynamics is Celebrating in Style at the SME National Awards held at Wembley Stadium

Tina Dulieu - Business Woman of the Year 2020-21 Finalist

Being selected as a finalist in the Business Woman of the Year 2020/21 category at the National SME Business Awards, was truly an honour.  Mid-July brought the Grand Final, held at the prestigious Bobby Moore suite at Wembley Stadium, London. It was a wonderful evening and it was fabulous to dress up, celebrate and have some fun with my family and close friends who came to support me! Being a finalist in these national business awards was a proud moment indeed.  The trophy went to another worthy winner in my category on the night - my warmest congratulations to her and all finalists and winners. A wonderful achievement by all!

I am so pleased to be recognised by the SME National awards.

Will Tina Dulieu of Coaching Dynamics be crowned Business Woman of the Year 2020?

We’re excited to share that our CEO and founder, Tina Dulieu, has been shortlisted for Business Woman of the Year at the national SME Business Awards 2020. It is an honour to be recognised and we can’t wait for the awards evening at Wembley later this year!

The nomination highlights Tina’s support of many local and national businesses, charities and not-for-profits, and their owners and managers, over many years, acknowledging how she’s helped them to grow and flourish, in good times and in spite of economic downturns, and of course, over the recent Covid-19 lockdown.

As a business owner and a former mathematics teacher, Tina brings a unique perspective to problem-solving and strategy.  For example, she helps businesses secure a bona fide cash injection from HMRC - often running to thousands of pounds - in the form of the Government Research and Development tax credits scheme. There are very few business growth coaches who have this skill and it is an important part of the ‘whole growth strategy’ for companies as they reinvest their rebates.

In addition, Tina volunteers at the Robert Clack School delivering an Entrepreneurs’ Academy Course and trains in-house teams at Chess Homeless Shelter in Chelmsford. She is also delighted to sponsor a children’s martial arts school that teaches fitness and self-discipline, important disciplines for a child’s growth, important life skills in her view.

Tina reflects, “I have only one agenda: to help my clients achieve their goals and ambitions and be hugely more successful than they would have been without my intervention. I’m told that my personable and supportive style together with a wise perspective on business distinguishes me within the business coaching industry. I am very proud to have been shortlisted for Business Woman of the Year 2020!”

Look out for an update and photos from the ceremony taking place at Wembley Arena in December this year.

Proud to be an official sponsor of the United Karate Association

Coaching Dynamics is an official sponsor of the United Karate Association

Coaching Dynamics is very proud to be an official sponsor of the United Karate Association (UKA), one of the most successful karate clubs in the UK. With dojos (schools) across Essex, Hertfordshire and London, they offer many children access to this wonderful discipline. At the current time, club members are in teams, pitching their skills against each other as part of the Junior Autumn League.

Owned by Ian Cuthbert and his two talented sons, Daniel and Luke, UKA have won and still hold many karate titles including National, European and World Championships.Their many students have also won titles making it a hugely successful club.

Karate is a fantastic sport. Originating in Asia, it was originally designed for self-defence but today, lots of people enjoy martial arts to build physical and mental strength. In particular it helps instil self-discipline, focus and sportsmanship in our young people, boosting self-esteem and keeping them motivated - all wonderful attributes for our business people, athletes and artists of the future.

Tina Dulieu explained, ‘I’m really proud and excited to be presenting medals to the Autumn Karate Junior League Champions on 7th December! Good luck to all competitors. Look out for photographs soon!

The Houses of Parliament calls Tina!

I was very excited to attend a debate at the House of Commons about ‘The Sisterhood’, earlier this month.  Along with a diverse group of game-changing women, the goal was to define a collective vision for what constitutes a 21st Century sisterhood. The debate was filmed and will be used as part of a documentary about women in leadership - look out for more details about this soon.

The debate centred on the statistic that many women wish that there was a real and dependable sisterhood - one that inspires, supports and shares. Questions were asked and discussed: ‘So why isn’t there one? Why do women feel unsupported by other women? What are the real and lasting benefits for a sisterhood and how do we make this work for every woman?’

It was a very interesting discussion with many viewpoints!

The event was hosted by Shine UK Magazine and the Game Changers Women’s Leadership Network. SHINE UK magazine is all about the advancement of women and their careers. Through top level interviews that inspire and inform, they highlight female role models, celebrating success and unveiling the story behind our leading women. Now in its third year, it has generated a large following, including a readership of 150,000 in 28 countries and is one of the fastest growing digital publications for professional women.

Reflections: 100 years since women won the right to vote

On the day that women won the right to vote 100 years ago, I reflect on how fortunate I am to be living in these times of opportunity, not only for women but for us all. It would be another 10 years before women actually voted but we have come a long way since then.

In my role as a Strategic Growth Business Coach, I work with business leaders, both men and women, and take great pride in their successes. In this photo I am with Martin Williams, Kevin Seggery, Steve Hutchinson of Saunders at the SME National Business Awards at Wembley they have won several awards this year.

Maureen Graham and her wonderful team at Diamond Pharma Services have won two prestigious awards this year in their industry, OBN and TOPRA, and the fantastic Bridgitte Harley won Audiologist of the Year!

I've had personal successes this year too when I won Corporate Vision Magazine Coaching Elite Leading Coach in Essex and was a The Coaching Academy International Finalist Executive Coach of the Year.
